This is so idiotic. Students get exceptional, competent (the vast majority) and mediocre teachers in every single institution. And success depends not on the teacher but on the student and how hard they work

Who remembers this Labour campaign ad? One of the most effective in recent years, and one I still use to this day (although it has been kind of surpassed by the 'Markets' episode of Bluey). It seems a world away from Reeves' current thinking
