18-32 is by far the hardest time of a mans life because parental support disappears and you dont have anything to your name, while society cares far more about success and wealth in men, contrasted to looks and youth in women.

Imagine a guy at 40 whose life is going amazing, lands a beautiful doctor/lawyer around his own age, and feels on top of the world. He’ll hardly be concerned with whether or not some kids fresh out of college fancy him.

I honestly think the phrase “dad joke” became big because people who weren’t very clever wanted to insult people who were. I mean, some puns are genuinely groan-worthy but I hear some really clever ones and people call them dad jokes. Word play is an identified indicator of high intelligence.
