Finally got a hold of a rep at Delta Dental and they confirmed the info they needed was there all along and the procedure is included under my benefits. However, they need another 30 days to review and no guarantee that they will approve the claim. Even though my damn tooth is about to fall out.

Delta Dental claiming they can’t cover a procedure because they don’t have the exact information my dentist already submitted. Seems like they keep delaying, denying….you get it.

My dentist suddenly no longer being in network right before a necessary surgery is just great, real great.

I’m so sorry that you’ve gone through and are experiencing all of that :(

I had a herniated disc in my spine and insurance stopped covering me halfway through my treatment. There were days I was in so much pain unable to get out of bed I couldn’t imagine living another day. Top that suffering off with insurance screwing me over was mentally just too much.

I also had a spinal injury that health insurance refused coverage for despite being bedridden for 3 months and my doctor appealing their denial. I was in so much pain and suffering I no longer wanted to exist. Adding that financial burden on top of that was extremely frustrating.
