Beware the usual Monday closures. If can squeeze in a day trip to Bruges (train there and back is easy) highly recommend (not least so you can reimagine In Bruges scenes).

Yet another Grimsby game, yet another away Grimsby game, yet another underwhelming away Grimsby performance and — most bizarrely of all — I think after Bradford, Crewe might be the Grimsby away fixture I’ve done the most over the years.

It wasn’t anywhere near as bad as Barnet a few weeks ago tho.

Tron films are style over substance but... The third starts with some off credits over the intro (typeface? that they’re actually there? Dunno). It’s very handsome, pushing adding light ribbons makes things look interesting, but it lacks awe weirdly. Grid look is dull. Greta Lee is great tho.

The sell of Apple’s Siri and AI versus…

Recording my run using the Apple watch’s activity tracker, asking Siri how long I’ve been running for or asking how far I’ve traveled so far on this current run: “Sorry, I can’t help with that. You can learn more about logging your health data with Siri…” 🙄

I know my routine but also keep my plan - it’s just words and numbers - in Apple Notes.

The nurse was super keen I download an app that did this. I didn’t/don’t get the value to me as a patient why “a simple app” would be any better than what I already had. Why does everything have to be an app?

This week I had a chat with my asthma nurse. My asthma management plan is a simple doc that details my routine, what to do if the asthma gets worse. It’s usually a Word doc you and/or an asthma professional fill in.
