Will be interesting to see when the Swedes send Gripen to Ukraine. As I understand it, they’re planning to send the C/D frames after fixing them up with new parts.
How many of the 96 at hand can be sent? If only a fraction, it’ll be a major boost for UAF.

Australian decision to go with Japanese is strike two for the US naval capacity. Earlier this fall the Norwegians chose UK over US and France.

I agree, the economy can deal with icebergs if they know of them. Harder to steer if you don't know where the next will be.

That said, I think we all agree that the tariffs are a bunch of nonsense that we'd be better off without.

This is a picture of the cellphone cache they found in NYC and holy shit. All of those little chiclets in the rack cases are SIM cards; apparently the rig could send 30 million anonymous texts per minute

Got numbers up until 2023 showing a sharp rebound after Covid. Tourism is still very very important as you can see. And the figures for 2024 point to an all time high -so perhaps you're right after all! Waiting for the official figures now.

Spain hasn't wasted their time in the EU and actually reformed their economy. Their banking sector is strong and overall reliance of tourism is on its way down.
