I remember being at my boy Jay's house when that butt nekkid Untitled D'Angelo video debuted. He, his girlfriend and I were watching it. "Yo, man, smoke is coming out your girl," I said to Jay. And it WAS. Literal smoke coming out of her. After the video, I politely took my leave.

RIP D'Angelo.

A recent film festival issued a statement saying that press screenings were "working environments," therefore it was OK to use laptops and phones while watching the movie. I can take handwritten notes without looking away from the screen. I'd have to look at my phone. This is a buncha bullshit.

I used to think people just didn’t understand what Columbus did but now I think some are really attached to him (as opposed to other worthy italians to celebrate) because their whole thing is not only getting away with doing horrible things but forcing everyone to praise them for being horrible
