-Cornswet is a wonderful Superman; very sweet and kind
-Inconsistent pacing; there's so much going on
-it's very James Gunn, almost to its detriment; it borders on silly at times; this felt like it was in the Guardians of the Galaxy universe

Saw #Superman. I liked it, but didn't love it. Which is kinda bumming me out. I really wanted to adore this film, but something about it kept me at arm's length. I'm still processing, but here are my initial gut reactions:

Just got back from seeing Sinners. It was excellent all around. Fun, sexy, gory, meaningful, and creepy. A unique take on an age-old concept that'll stick with me for quite some time.
