Crazy how working 45 hours a week will do a number on your social life. Has anyone else noticed this? That having only 6 hours of free time on your day will make you less social?

so all I can do is let my supervisor know I’m gonna be late and recover the lost hours either same day or on my day off so it doesn’t affect my metrics but being late already gets my paycheck docked 😔
I’m hired to work per day not by the hour

It’s not that simple, the call center I work schedules my shifts for 3 months in advance and expects me to log in for all the days and hours I’m scheduled for. Swaps have to be done with a minimum of 3 weeks in advance
