in addition to their smoke becoming excessive and unbearable, the creature has developed a strange means of self defense. when they feel threatened, 'false bones' may protrude through their slimy body, with the hopes of appearing dead. their body may develop a lower viscosity for the same reason. -

follow up illustration of the same creature as described in the quoted post. this time the creature is hunkered low to the ground, and the bright red spots on their body are more frequent, creating a more eye-strain effect. vertebrae like bones protrude from their back, and they have many uncanny looking teeth poking through their face. their pupils have became many rings, giving them a manic, scarier look to their expression.

A glitch may occur in Super Mario Galaxy when played on a Nintendo Switch 2 whereby Mario will get stuck in freefall in the tunnel in Gateway Galaxy. The usual failsafe that would kill Mario for falling too long does not activate here, so Mario will tumble forever and never die.
