Despite being a woman who loves Trek myself. I have met a lot of women who do like Trek.

Of course many still had this fear of it being seen as masculine or negative, some have also avoided it but a lot of women and queer people genuinely love Trek
Still no hate if people like that, I am just not sad to see it vanish.
I am kinda with you here, Kylo as a character always came off as a edgy teenager with anger issues.

I do respect peoples ships online but I genuinely didn't care for the Ben Solo movie.

Also still not over the fact that Kylo is 29 and Rey is 19 in TFA, a 10 year age gap is kinda... yeah...
Sometimes there are great things to gain from talking to people who share your experience. And i'd even advice it myself, and it's been crucial for me.

But I would NEVER turn a friend in need away. I'd try to listen to what is being said, sometimed you don't need the answer, just the ear.
I wouldn't tell a gay man venting about his issues to talk to other gay men when venting.

I wouldn't tell a person of colour to speak to other persons of colour.

I wouldn't tell a woman to talk to other women.

I'd listen to them even if I didn't personally get their struggle. I'd sympathise.
Despite the person being the one asking, then again I've already done that. Sometimes I just need to vent and if you give me space to do so I will. I think what frustrates me is I have realized how.. hollow this argument is?
This is something I have found even with allies. I have been asked to vent or talk about my feelings when suffering from dysphoria. Before being told

"I am sorry I can't really understand what you are going through. Maybe you should talk to another trans person?"

#3: people do not need diplomas to understand that if someone is different than you they also deserve basic respect

I'm preaching to the choir here, but family should have to earn your respect and place in your life just the same as anybody else. They don't get a free pass or more grace just because you happen to be born into the same group of people.

I am worried for the future, especially for the kids who grow up with #AI.

It will destroy society, not with nukes but breakdowns of societal functions.
AI models may seem comforting or an answer to loneliness. I have suffered with mental healty and loneliness. But there are ways.

Real life is scary, it hurts, is unfair but it also can give a lot of real joy.
Step 1. Create a model that always responds in the positive. It doesn't care for you because it can't.

Step 2. Let everyone access it freely

Step 3. People with latent or pre-existing traumas or mental health issues use it.

Step 4. They grow isolated, losinh sight of objective reality.
I am not surprised at all that we might be facing an epidemic of #AI induced #psychosis.

Reality can be harsh, our insecurities are not always reflective of the truth and we need them to be questioned.

But signing off your therapy to a chronic yes man who will validate anything you say?
Tack och lov pressade #SRs intervjuare men fick bara samma svar och att "väljare förstår vad vi menar."

Det var en bra comeback att säga att han var väljare men inte alls visste.

Blir trött på svenska politiker som inte står för något.
