My challenge lately is finding an olive oil I really like the flavour of. 🤷‍♀️

I have tried infusing olive oil with herbs, garlic, etc, but have always worried about including an unwanted dash of botulism along with the aromatics. 😬

So sorry to read that, Valerie. I hope your son can find a way to take each day - or hour - as it comes and he can motivate himself to look after his wellbeing, physical and mental. Such a sad situation. Is there bereavement couselling available and would he avail himself of it? x

I dread / anticipate in equal measure the day a country - could be the US, could be Canada or an EU state - announces that the rights of all British people legally resident in their country for decades will have their residency permissions cancelled.

Imagine the screeching outrage in GB. 🤨

Hope your appointment leads to the right sort of antibiotics. I've heard that docs are more and more reluctant to prescribe antiBs unless they are absolutely sure they're needed. Maybe that's why s/he is requiring a face-to-face. Hope things improve rapidly now. 🤞

Salut ☕ I'm surprised to find I do genuinely vacuum more often now we have a cordless thing - two, in fact: one for upstairs and one downstairs. The more robust downstairs vac has to deal with dog hair... 🤦

They do make life so simple and it's not as if charging them is a faff.

Because Ed Davey and other LibDems (mainly) talk sense, are not sensational or divisive and therefore provide nothing that the (right-biased) media can shriek and posture over. Being sensible and practical doesn't generate enough controversy... or clicks. 🙄
