I’m a fan of both liminal spaces and the Backrooms, at least what the Backrooms used to be… which was basically infinite, nonsensical liminal spaces. This conversation lays it out perfectly.

I don’t eat dairy. Can’t anymore. But wasn’t always that way. And I still have very strong opinions about pizza.

Chicago-style pizza is wrong. Culinarily, mechanically, and morally. It’s pizza done backwards, like making a sandwich with the bread inside.

To be fair, that’s on the creator, though. YT only introduced that to compete with places like Patreon. So this was already happening, you just didn’t see it.

As creators, we get to decide that entirely: YT has zero input on that.

I really wish Google had kept its music app and YouTube separate. Or at least separate YouTube Music from YouTube Video. There’s too much overlap and it ruins my YT viewing experience.
