If you see this, quote with a robot that isn't from "Star Wars", "Star Trek", "Doctor Who", or "Transformers"

It's 20 years since @seanphillips.bsky.social and I exchanged a sketchbook back and forth in the mail, a drawn &painted call and response. INTERSECTIONS may be out of print but here is a flip through that sketchbook. You can still find the book out there :)
Thank you! Baby steps, but still progress!
This was my favourite page, personally, as I knew all but one of the kanji, and the one I didn't know, I knew the word, so I was able to piece it all together to understand the sentence. Before you know it, I'll be reading books with more than 10 pages!
Looking at a pronoun labeller account, and this option made me laugh because in Glasgow this would mean a person who uses no pronouns at all:
Milestone in my Japanese learning tonight: I read a whole book in Japanese! It was a gripping tale of a hungry dog who stole some meat from a stall, ran away until he came to a river and then *spoiler alert* barked at his own reflection in the water, causing him to drop his ill-gotten gains.

Me & my comics pal @fraserc69.bsky.social were adding our unused TFTQ page to this but the con artist AKA Frazer Brown has put that on hold for now.

Instead Fraser (good one) & I are creating a brand, spankin’ 1 pager for A1 DEADLINE so please…
BACK IT NOW!

A series of whodunnits where the sweet little old lady crime writer / amateur detective is actually the perpetrator each time, bumping off someone awful and framing someone equally bad. Miss Marple meets Dexter. We'll call it Murder She Wrought

This little mushroom landscape illustration with fairy toadstool fly agaric was added to my shop this week. A great gift idea for a lover for fairy tales or the magic of nature...

I feel like maybe a 3 or a 4 when I'm on my own on a good day, until I have to interact with other people and realise I'm actually an 11

My dad is so excited to see the @realgdt.bsky.social ‘s new Frankenstein, he ordered the artbook from the states. I couldn’t take him to the exhibition sadly.

He’s a lifelong Frankenstein fan and made a few puppets and statues of him over the years
Luigi nervously humming along to his own game music to keep his nerve is a top-tier gaming memory for me. I love it!
I saw a couple round our way, their kid was too young to go trick or treating, so they'd made up the pushchair to look like the Mystery Mobile and were going around handing out bags of sweets to the guisers. Lovely way to join in!
The Bin Bag Draculas would be a cracking name for a band
Kid's costumes look so fancy these days. No bin bag draculas or toilet paper mummies out there
Watching the original Christopher Lee Dracula movie. Lucy leaving her bedroom windows open so the vampire can get in was so me as a child. I knew vampires needed invited in, so I wasn't going to make it difficult for them

Oh, go on, since it's the start of spooky season, I drew this for you
Getting older means not recognising any of the costumes the trick-or-treating kids are wearing *crumbles to a pile of dusty bones*
I've got my Halloween costume sorted!

Yikes. Rather you than me!
Pinksky is an interesting way of presenting your Bluesky feed, for those who are pining for the fjords of Instagram, but it is a little too slavishly beholden to that Insta interface. On a site with no algorithm, removing the ability to repost others' work also removes any chance of discoverability.
Just posting this Master-piece (I warned you there'd be puns! You were warned!) to test out Pinksky
