They only have those billions because they've rigged the system to "trickle up." For decades they've been the beneficiaries of a tilted playing field, on the backs of the working class. I don't think it's unfair to ask them to give something back to restore the economy to health.

Probably, but the defendants don't even have to win. ICE just needs to get sent a message that every unlawful arrest will have consequences. Having to defend themselves in court should act as at least some amount of deterrent.

Probably not necessary, since “to dismiss” clarifies the type of motion. I think “he will file his motion challenging the lawfulness...” doesn’t require a comma.
