yes -- tho I think Drake Maye was more ready than Cam upon being drafted and iirc he started the year on the bench before being with a veteran who's been a starter the entire year

situations are everything and the Titans were not ready for a QB

You’re trying to win games. You make decisions that will bring you closer to that without going backward if you’re in that spot. They didn’t do that.

it has nothing to do with either quite frankly — you can’t draft a QB you’re not ready for because of PR. The team needed to be reset and that leadership needed to have a chance to do that.

Instead they took a QB, dropped him into acid on his own and said ‘swim.’ This is on ownership.

it hasn't been as smooth as last year but I still really like all the core talent in the Norris Division

Packers-Lions-Vikings-Bears also all, pretty much, are working off plans that make sense now. Division is still very dangerous imo.

it's extremely hard to cut a game the way Detroit had to cut it tonight -- taking the air out of the ball, trying to keep Mahomes on the bench -- and survive offensive mistakes. Lions have made quite a few tonight, more than they have in a minute.
