My coworker was telling me something similar last week. How over time their relationship to you changes. His cat would go downstairs for years. Now he wanna be in the bed or all up under them. I’m hopeful.

She didn’t seem to like me when I met her but I’m persistent. She took to me right away. Then I went away for a few days last month and I feel like she hates me. I went away again this month now we’re besties. I do have to force her to cuddle most times but she’ll do it. On her own is a surprise.

My cat mostly treats me like I’m just here to feed her when she hollers at me. But early this morning she came and curled up in my legs on the bed. It’s been 3 months since I adopted her. I’ve loved her since day one. Maybe she just needed some time.
