Totally up to you! We're looking for the best pages. If your first draft qualifies, then great. The only thing you should be aware of is that the "prize" if you get picked as a pro is you'll get feedback on at least your first ten from one or more of us, so just make sure you're okay sharing it.

One of the pro writers for this upcoming Spot the Pro emailed me and made a really cool offer: They said that if an aspiring writer beat their page, they'd read their first 10 pages. I thought that was such a cool display of humility, confidence, and just a community-minded approach to all this...

The youtube stuff is fun and lets me give back to a good amount of mostly-serious screenwriters, so I'm happy to continue with that. Sometimes it pays me as much as $2 a day, too! Who needs to sell $500 courses when you've got that??

I was hanging out w/ a few non-film friends a couple weeks ago who spent like a half hour trying to convince me I should sell courses and consulting. They could not understand why I wouldn't want to be part of that ecosystem. But... no thanks.

Need an aspiring, unrepped writer for a new youtube experiment, which I think will be pretty special.

Unlike Spot the Pro, skill-level is less important here, but you should have written at least two scripts (features or pilots), be comfortable on camera, and available to film...
