Heartbreaking: Neo-soul legends Angie Stone and D’Angelo both passed away in 2025, just 7 months apart. Stone died in March at 63. D’Angelo died today at 51. They shared a son together. An entire generation’s soundtrack, gone. Rest in power to both 🕊️💔

I have a personal goal of reading everyday. Most days I finish a 400-600 pg book. I make the time b/c reading is my happy place. I’ve instilled that in my youngest, who as of right now is reading/ trying to learn the Korean alphabet 😂

When the Harry Potter books came out, I saw entire scenes. Tolkien too. Those books literally came to life in my mind.

It’s why I love the hobbit & lord of the rings so much. Tolkien was very good at description. When the movies came out I was skeptical, but they lived up to my imagination. I watch those movies at least 2 twice a year. All of them.

I see full color, movie like images. Ppl tell me that’s not normal. 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ when I read, if the author is good at description, I can see down to the last detail. It’s why I have trouble with movies when I read the book 1st.
