I usually go with Retro Game Repair Shop myself. Although, my friend wants it as OEM as possible. Which is fine, save for the destroyed shell. I am just going with a Flame Red shell.

The board works for the most part. The speaker might be bad, though. Need to order a spare just in case. But it plays games and the buttons work fine. It's just sound issues, it seems.

Sony, give me an Ape Escape game that is not like Ape Escape Move or a VR exclusive, and my money is yours!

Ordered a GBA SP to repair and sell to a friend. Got it in the mail today, and I can say I never would have expected the shell to crumble to dust in my hands. It was really bad, and there was no savaging that shell at all.

It is possible to get a virus on a phone. But it is really rare and you really have to try to get one. It's probably just a phishing ad, as mentioned above.

Kinda getting to be that way for me, too. The only console I see worth is now is mainly Switch 2 because it will actually have exclusives I like. PS5 has been such a disappointment for me on many levels, but at least it plays PS4 games, so it's not completely useless to me. Xbox has also...oh boy.

I really should try to game just for myself. I always get the nagging thought, though, that I should be doing something productive. Doesn't help that on weekends lately. I have been getting volun-told by family to do things for them, so I really feel like I don't have any free time, thus the loop.

I have regrets with buying the tickets, actually. Mainly because I have no friends going, and a lot of the creators I wanted to meet aren't going either.

Yeah, there are some pretty bad districts out there. I like my job, but the PTO pay limit just sucks, and my commute to and from my site sucks too. I leave home at 6:50 am, and I am lucky to get home by 5 or 5:30 pm.

I am taking Friday off for Twitchcon, but my job I only accrue 7 hours of PTO a month, and federal holidays and school breaks take from that PTO, too. I had a vacation technically during summer break when school was out for 3 months, but only because I couldn't get a summer school position.

I've been feeling major burnout with everything, even though I have been doing nothing but my IRL job. I just wanna actually stop getting task paralysis with everything other than my IRL job. Consistency has always been a weakness of mine, but this feeling of burnout sucks.
