It amazes me how many people ignored this statement.
No one gives a shit about human rights anymore.

As she waits for a decision in the ter apel asylum seekers center in the Netherlands, arc is pessimistic about her chances. She says Dutch government employees have told her they don't want to "piss off" the US by branding it an unsafe country.

She expects to be deported, and when that happens, she fears that the Trump administration will find some pretext to imprison her with men.

People are downplaying everything we are going through. They said Republicans weren't going to go after gay marriage. They are. I had someone downplaying the upcoming famine we are about to witness.

These people are ashamed conservatives. Don't take anything they say seriously.

A large number of people are silent and have been rolling over for this regime. So many human rights abuses and yet no one does anything. Our rights erode and people are going to work and pretending that nothing is happening.

I want you to know that grocery stores are going to close as a result of this. Not only that the price of food has gone up not down. The United States is not Sudan or Somalia it is the United States. It won't play out like Sudan or Somalia but it'll get there.

This isn't 2015 anymore. We're talking about 40 million people losing their food stamps and overall access to food over the course of the next month. The United States has left various human rights organizations. People are disappearing off the streets. I'm not trying to play oppression Olympics.

I don't think you fully grasp how bad things are getting here. Donald Trump pulled funding to food banks back in May. Things are going to get ugly. Some are speculating he did this to justify sending in the military.
It wasn't just cuts this is due to the shutdown.
