An example : China is world leader in EV. Yet the LNP oversaw the closure of car production when with foresight it could have planned for EVs here. We had manufacturing and skills then but now lost. Yet we persist in digging up stuff and pretending to be wealthy through real estate.

As a side point. Auspol produces politicians that are by and large very dull. Their policy settings reflect this which is a good thing. Auspol does not produce mavericks that affect their nation's for decades (Boris Johnson and Brexit), Trump etc. That's a testament to our political and structures

One hopes the Dems don't throw another woman under the bus. AOC, Jasmine, Whitmar and others are the future. Kamala would come with way too much baggage. However the DNC is adrift without rudder or oar so who knows how the MAGA juggernaut will be stopped
