Always lends a hand, always free to watch kids, offers gentle advice, always giving stuff to people for free. But also super protective. People forget he was a hero and is just a nice quiet guy until trouble shows, then bam!

Rornir is technically nobility/semi royalty on both side of his family (though neither side knew of the others) When both of his parents died (killed by his uncle) he left his home, any claim of rulership and his entire early identity, including his true name, behind

Yes. He'd always ask before touching someone though, whether thats verbally or making eye contact with a look.

He will never hesitate to comfort someone, regardless of what their reason was. Immediately check its okay to hug, then instant hug. No questions, no explanations, no words. Just hug.

Hi everyone! o/ Would your OC hug someone in distress if they knew that person wanted/needed it? That could be a mourning parent/orphan, grieving spouse, etc but only someone met in passing -- no named figures and no political gains here!

depends on the materials
Rornir has a delicate tummy for things like flour/wheat gluten, dairies or excessive red meat

Fish (unbreaded) or poulty on corn or something like chicpea or okara taco shells, no cheese. He can eat a lot. and the good spicy shit too. He's got a hot metabolism, and can eat.

For his first few years, he ate really well. He was considered a noble family and first son. The best that Othard had to offer.

He went through a period were he rarely ate more than rice and veg.

Now he eats healthy and humble. Curry every week. His own garden fresh produce. Balanced and varied.

No. At last not to most people.
He has a set limit of what he shows, so people *think* he does. He has this air of warm and welcoming always huggy and incredibly deeply passionate. So he seems like the heart on his sleeve guy.

Urianger said Love first, and it took Rornir months to say it back.

Yes. Even every hardship, trauma and unthinkable memory he endured, it led him to his best friend Alex, the love of his life Urianger, and the most loyal best mate Thancred. He would endure it all again, exactly as he did, knowing he'd have them at the end.

"Balance in all things" is his motto. A well rounded flavour or meal with many flavours is best.
Also, Rornir just likes food and exploring new tastes.

Alex, on the other, has been through hell because of me (and many years as my oc, through hell with me). she doesn't pull punches lol

His echo is the ability to sense and manipulate emotions. So he always encourages others to freely accept and express their emotions. He feels very strongly about emotions in general.

But is shit at dealing with his own. If not for his ears giving him away all the time, he'd pass as always happy

Uri has already proven that he'd rather someone hate him but be safe and alive. Twice. He'd risk losing friends affection/love if it meant protecting them. He will always take the low road so others may rise to the high road.

As his most problematic trait OOCly, because people complained about it frequently, "He's too happy. Its annoying and not realistic given the wol's journey".
People don't like happy characters, always go for the BBEG, "I can fix him" types.

Rornir has a dark past, happy is a mask but no one knows.
