What's happening in my community (Aurora in the Western Chicago Suburbs - a heavily Latino area) is devastating.

Here's what our local Rapid Response team posted on social media:

10:45 AM - Two U.S. Citizens were kidnapped by ICE after patrolling the area and learning of immigration federal agents present at Allen Elementary School, Aurora, IL. One of the patrollers was pepper sprayed and assaulted by federal agents, and were transported to Rush Copley Hospital, Aurora, IL. They were forced to leave behind their young child, who was in the arms of an officer from Aurora Police Department.

Just turned on BBC News, only to see yet another Caribbean snuff film courtesy of Trump and the United States military.

My prayers go out to the victims and their families.

Some have realized that the outcome is gross and rail against it. But, few acknowledge the part they played and ask for forgiveness, even as they rail against the destruction around them.

I had two fun party tricks -- one was popping my jaw. The other was that my jaw would open, then I had to move it to the right to allow it to open further. It didn't open straight. All fixed!
