All I will say for Bsky is 'could be worse'. Because of the numerous examples that exist.

I think social media is always going to be neurotic, self soothing nonsense until QOL changes for the better. Everyone is exploited and frightened and withdrawing ever further into a comfort reality.

VOIP killed deathmatching. The culture was a lot better when people had to stop playing and type in order to be racist or otherwise disgusting. Cut down on it quite a bit.
