Getting a little #tarot insight about my anxiety. Yep, imposter syndrome about my contribution to fight fascism. I don’t feel like I’m doing enough, I feel like a fraud. I’m reminded to focus on my self-worth & do what I can within my limits. No one can do everything, but we can all do something.

Tonight my anxiety is way up, shallow breathing, feeling my heart beat, brain won’t shut off. I’ve tried some breathing exercises, but no help. I was productive and found a virtual #NoKings protest to attend, so that makes me feel better about not attending in person. Let’s smash the 3.5% goal!

Currently at my last mammogram before my breast reduction surgery!! Keep fighting for women’s health rights. It wasn’t that long ago that all medicine was based on the male body. We have our own unique needs and shouldn’t have to fight to access healthcare appropriate for our bodies & needs. #Resist

My daughter wants to go to school there next year, but seeing what’s happening is terrifying. I’ve been watching close and I’ve been proud of Chicago! It makes me feel better about her going seeing how people in the city are handling everything. A great example for everyone 💛

Thank you! I really want to go, but being autistic, having poor emotional regulation when stressed, having an anxiety disorder, and just thinking about going without my meds if I’m arrested by some asshat is terrifying. But, this is bigger than me. I’m torn for so many reasons 😫

While I know it will be peaceful, I’m not convinced the thugs won’t be there escalating things. It’s scary to think about because my communication skills may shut down if it’s too chaotic and my emotional regulation ability will be further reduced. I’m in an internal battle to decide if I should go.

My anxiety is up today. We’ve been busy, the shutdown is stressing me & causing my already full plate to be even more crammed. Thinking about going to #NoKings Sat, but paying to travel might not be possible with no paycheck & the crowds & noise will not play nice with my flavor of autism…

I’m so hoping to make it there. We have to travel to the nearest one, and without a guaranteed paycheck, we’ve been trying not to drive much. My daughter is making signs to send with others and I’ll for sure be amplifying others. My anxiety is spiked, but I’m willing to give it a try if possible.

Government shutdown meal plan from my food stock. Yesterday I roasted a whole 20lb turkey (98 cents/lb), made homemade dinner rolls (I need to tweak the recipe), had potatoes, some canned veggies, & stuffing. The turkey leftovers should last us a week of meals, and maybe a couple of freezer meals.
