The thing about the Nazi chat is these people turned the country upside down and got a lot of people fired to be able to say those things in comfort.

They leaked some of the steamy details. Apparently when RFK Jr farts it also sounds like a fork stuck in a garbage dispenser.

Then a double whammy when we cut aid programs and food stamps making and taking away that stable income source.

Then a triple whammy when supplies, parts and fertilizers increased because of import tariffs.

It's beyond bailout - they need a new crop and they need new markets.

They need to eat and we produce the most - so we thought we had leverage.

China responded by not buying from us and flooding the market with 10 year supply contracts making it cheaper than ever.

Now US farmers have no way of unloading their crop and no market for at least the next decade.

He's not giving Milei anything - he's bailing out investors buy buying worthless Argentinian Pesos.

And Walz is the first politician I've heard talking about the long term prospects for soy exports.

The heavy tariffs on AG exports like soybeans (a vital crop in Asia), was supposed to be foolproof.

Tim Walz: "It's almost unimaginable that he's got Milei in there, giving him $20 billion, so that they can undercut us and China can buy their soybeans from them. And now China has learned they can replace our markets."

in all the discussion (and sometimes tokenizing) of Portland protests being a creative spectacle that neutralizes law enforcement, don’t overlook:

Members of the Unpresidented Brass Band were bull rushed & brutalized in the middle of playing "Ghostbusters." One was sent to the hospital and another tackled, arrested, and taken across state lines where she is still being detained.

Apparently protecting US citizens from flooding is DEI.
nytimes.com
Months before catastrophic floods swept through an Alaska Native village on Sunday, the Trump administration canceled a $20 million grant meant to protect the community from extreme flooding. At the time, the EPA administrator said he was eliminating "wasteful DEI and Environmental Justice grants."
E.P.A. Canceled $20 Million Flood Protection Grant to Alaska, Parts of Which Just Flooded
The remote village of Kipnuk planned to use the money to protect against flooding. On Sunday, it was inundated.

"The CNN-POLITICO Grill is the ultimate convention destination at the heart of all the action...As THE authority covering politics, policy and power, POLITICO will host news making and thought-provoking conversations about the changing power landscape in Washington and around the country."
In a separate conversation, Giunta shared that his flight to Charleston, South Carolina, landed safely. Then, he offered some advice for his fellow Young Republicans.

“If your pilot is a she and she looks ten shades darker than someone from Sicily, just end it there. Scream the no no word,” Giunta wrote.

The expression is one bad apple spoils the bunch. Meaning, any sign of spoilage even in a single apple spoils the whole bunch.

Flipping the meaning to ask whether the removal of a few bad apples saves the bunch tells me that the politico reporter doesnt understand the expression.

Q: Politico reported on a group chat of young Republicans. Does this just reflect some bad apples?

HOCHUL: Some bad apples? These are the future of the GOP. This is so vile it's hard to find the words to put into context ... there's gotta be consequences ... this bullshit has to stop.

POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

Confirmed, the "Gaza peace deal" was the same deal offered to Netanyahu and the US repeatdly, but it was turned down by Israel because they wanted to gift Trump (Israeli asset) a perceived victory at the expense of the Israeli hostages and Gaza population.
