Glad to see the "Chicago rat hole" (rodent-body imprint) of January 2024 Internet fame was studied more, but just to add my $0.02: Many folks missed the tracks leading away from the body imprint, meaning the squirrel (not rat) fell & splatted in wet concrete, but then walked it off. 🧪🐿️🐾

Ich bin es leid wie kalte Pappe, dass man sich täglich Beleidigungen von Politiker*innen gefallen lassen muss.

Ich habe dort gerade ebenfalls angerufen und mit einer sehr freundlichen Person gesprochen, die sehr bedauerte, dass sie nicht mehr tun könne, als es ans Kanzleramt zu melden. Sie bat mich, doch auch noch eine Mail zu senden UND dass es toll wäre, wenn NOCH mehr Leute eine Mail schreiben würden.

Wir brauchen viel mehr zivilen Ungehorsam, radikale Unhöflichkeit und smarten Widerstand. Es gibt sehr sicher, gerade in Service-Berufen, die Möglichkeit LEGAL die Bösen zu sabotieren. Mit kleinen, aber wirksamen Dingen, die man tut oder lässt. Da kann und sollte jede*r kreativ werden.

Ich hatte ja gehofft, dass das #Merz -Zitat irreführend aus dem Zusammenhang gerissen ist. Aber unser Bundeskanzler sagte tatsächlich, das #Rückführungen von Migranten nötig seien, weil es "IM STADTBILD EIN PROBLEM" gebe. Es ist schwer, das anders als blanken Rassismus zu interpretieren.

Pro tip to reporters and protesters: always have swim goggles in your pockets or bags. They’re small, $10 and if tear gas is used, slip them on & no matter how much you cough, you’ll still be able to SEE without burning eyes.
