How does that make sense?

Yeah, I get it, they’re ruthless and will turn their rage at you and threaten you with deadly violence if you don’t give them what they want, but still?

Problemet är den enfaldiga nonchalansen hos just en säkerhetsrådgivare att inte begripa de säkerhetsmässiga principerna av att uppge sina egna möjliga angreppspunkter och därigenom

Och det värsta, det absolut värsta, är, att man starkt anar att det inte ens är länder, nationer, som håller på, utan individer som använder nationer, deras arméer och resurser för att bränna ner världen och grabba åt sig alla tillgångar och sitta där som Smaug i evigheters evighet.

Considering how wide and far the US has preached on how superior their democracy is, it’s both baffling and, yeah, fascinating how incredibly fast the backbone institutions of that same democracy buckles when faced with an actual tyrant.
