I welcome the govt’s decision to revise its super tax reforms following crossbench advocacy.

I continue to call on the govt to strengthen the PRRT and pursue broader tax reform — shifting the burden away from personal income earners and onto big polluters.

GOOD NEWS! Researchers have developed a cancer vaccine that has shown STUNNING results, PREVENTING up to 88% of MULTIPLE aggressive cancers by harnessing dual-pathway nanoparticles that train the immune system to recognize and destroy tumor cells. In some cases, it COMPLETELY prevented metastasis.

“A large Brisbane school is crediting dramatic improvements in its year 12 students’ English marks to a customised AI chatbot that provides instant feedback on student essays…. A qualitative shift in student engagement and motivation resulting from the dramatic reduction in feedback delivery time.”
Totally disgraceful decision. The book decided by the panel should be the winner. Who is the Minister overseeing this rabble?

I couldn’t agree more. I was there and did exit via the northern end despite the intimidating line of police. I then had an easy and uneventful journey to North Sydney station.
What on earth are they talking about! The crowd was orderly. The only uncertainty came from the text messages the police sent. I saw the trains coming back across the bridge about half full. I walked up to North Sydney station where there were about 100 people and absolutely no safety issues.
Inspiring to see so many Sydneysiders supporting the march on a cold, wet day. But why oh why did the police try to turn the march back on itself rather than give people the choice of exiting at the northern end?

I wonder what cowardly bullshit @albomp.bsky.social and Penny Wong will vomit upon us next week to try and convince everyone to ignore this and let them keep enabling a genocide?

It is massive. Thanks to Peter Deppeler on Twitter for the footage. #GazaGenocide #MarchForHumanity
Huge crowds braved the rain today to march across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to protest the plight of the Palestinian people.

Today in QT I asked the govt: will you be ambitious on climate?

The ICJ has affirmed nations have a legal duty to prevent climate harm. Yet this govt continues to approve gas projects to 2070— completely undermining our climate commitments.

A lot to think about in this essay, especially how our teacher experience will differ from student experience … and more
