super sad about Drew Struzan. He was excellent at capturing likeness but never made illustrations that felt stiff. He made whatever he illustrated look cooler. His use of light ❤️❤️. His collages never felt thrown together. Rest in peace. Thankyou for the inspiration. No one can touch you.

I feel when freedom of expression/art is argued for, many people knee-jerk hear they have to like/accept art they hate or disgusted by

you are allowed to hate and block art you don't like or even find morally reprehensible. you're just not allowed to negatively impact an artist's freedom to make it

I literally kept grabbing my face for each section and needed to pause. I thought I had survived the last part and then a subsequent amount of years followed and I would combust into ash before rebuilding myself to read what happened next
