Yep. He's a die hard fan of the franchise. So much so that he was planned to be in Legacy but due to time, he was cut and then was gonna be the villain in Ascension before that was canned. He pratically banged on Disney's door to make a new Tron and I would imagine he used his own money to pay for-

The greatest thing about Drew Struzan is that he reminded us about something that is generally taken for granted, and that's the artistry that goes into making movie posters. You never see this level of craftsmanship anymore because it is agreed that peaked with him. He truly was a legendary artist.
