I adore Ali Hazelwood’s books but for some reason Deep End didn’t quite hit that 5-star level for me.

The existence in her other books of the male lead’s quiet but obvious pining for the female lead just didn’t hit the same in Deep End, partly because of the “kind-of” love triangle.

I strongly feel that I deserve to award myself with new books for every grad school assignment I complete but, alas, I am trying to be financially responsible to pay down debt.

Serendipity’s Embrace was a quick watch, cute, full of fluff, no real trauma (by which I mean murder), and had an enjoyable secondary cast with happy endings all around - a definite easy comfort watch!

Thank you🥲 luckily today it was not as bad as I thought it would be! The bruising on the deepest cut is still slowly appearing, and it will definitely scar, but the cuts are clean and the pain is bearable so as long as it heals okay things should be fine!

Tripped and fell elbow first into an empty wineglass today while wandering around my house without my glasses. The wineglass won, and I will have a ring of scars reminding me of this fact for the rest of my life 😭😭😭

I wasn’t even drinking any wine. I am just both clumsy and unlucky 🫠

My antidepressants literally gave me some of the normalcy of my life back.

They are not more of a threat to me than my OWN brain.

OCD is actual hell.

Some of us have brains that actively fight against us and it takes these medications to make our brains work WITH us.

Finished DNA Lover and it was overall a decent watch!

I felt like the story got sidetracked in the last 3 episodes and the ending felt rushed, but ultimately things turn out well for everyone so it’s good if you’re looking for something a little lighter and a bit unique!

Finished When the Moon Hatched and LOVED it!

Writing was a little redundant in descriptions in places, but I was thoroughly entertained from start to finish, had a blast formulating theories (they all came true), and had fun reading with my sister☺️

I actually had it on my TBR and then removed it because I felt like I wasn’t sure about it. My sister picked it up and we decided to read it together and I’m glad she convinced me because it’s been an entertaining read!
