I just finished watching the anime amidst dealing with my aging and sick cat and I was super emo by the end of it!
Booo to draggy later chapters of anime/manga (Ranking of kings was so draggy after 10 or so eps)

My partner who isn't into anime loved Dungeon Meshi)(also enjoyed Dandadan).
I think Detective Conan is also very approachable but probably isn't very anime by today's standard.
