Oh so YouTube WAS down today, I thought my phone was having issues again (because it stops random apps from working all the time)… I was freaking out, glad it’s fixed now and that it was not my phone this time, YouTube, tumblr and bluesky are essential apps I CANNOT lose

Thinking about it a lot of fandom language takes insults and uses them in an affectionate way. & along with family terms, there’s also the comparing them to animals (in a positive way but it could be insulting). I think I’m just used seeing this all as positive that I didn’t think abt the negative

You need to read Kindred by Octavia Butler.

I just finished it and highly recommend.

It’s brutal and raw and mystical and so complicated.

Well I did in fact have a ear and nose infection and have been suffering for a month thinking it was just my normal head, sinus and ear pain increasing a bit… I can never tell when I have sth serious to not when it’s buried under my every day issues jeez
