Yep, just checked. The pan is worth over double the cost of the steak, which was not cheap.

It really is. Much nicer than all my old lodge stuff. Still not edible. Pretty sure that it’s worth more than the steak but I’m hitting the limit on kitchen toys. Between gadgets and cookware, my wife is gonna lose it.

I am not ignoring you. I have been working on my response and I’m making sure I say what I’m thinking instead of writing what amounts to pointless word salad. Or worse, something that comes back hostile, dismissive, or pedantic. But, Newsom is a Nazi. I’ll be back to this as kids and life allow.

@mbrobergmoffitt.bsky.social , you’re a chef. I’m in need of help. I ordered a cut of Wagyu flat iron steak online and I received this cast iron. I’m looking for cooking, serving, and how to eat instructions. I’m thinking molten iron lava cake dessert, but you’re the pro so idk.

Congress is currently controlled by Nazis who will not impeach. They’re happy. It’s the same reason they’re fine with their shutdown. The democrats have grown a spine. They have said no to the ridiculous spending bill that cuts everything that benefits citizens so the GOP can steal it.

And, to be extra clear, there is no fighting fascism without protecting the people the fascists are targeting. I have been super clear that Trans rights are human rights. You cannot win against fascism if you do not start with protecting the people fascists want to end.

This is where everyone needs to be. STOP fascism with everyone, but continue to work for the things you care about most. Accept everyone in the fascism fight, work within that group to get the things you care about rolling. Avoid the militant purity test. That’s just going to fascism again.

Folks demanding political / ideological purity fail to see that this is no longer a movement belonging to the left / liberals. This is an opposition against fascism. By definition it must be big tent. Failure to grasp this: see divided oppositions in Eastern Europe as your failed examples.
