Asking “How does my ttrpg character fuck” and writing a porn filled backstory is an important part of my character building process. I wind up finding a lot of their personality quirks and motivations from it. Like how Vim can be patronizing and Dearbhla loves Death cuz she’s not in pain around them

Sex scenes are almost never "gratuitous" or "unnecessary." You learn things about characters and relationships during sex that you can't really learn any other way, such as whether they're into fisting.

Adding to this, women writing sex scenes that are raunchy is good actually. Women exploring sexuality through fiction is good. Women deserve to have a safe place to explore their sexual desires no matter how gross or weird anyone thinks it is.

I’m only 9” into the back panel which needs to be 25” before I can start shaping the neck. Have not started the front or the sleeves. So there’s a really long way to go but if I finish it, it’ll be the most complicated knitting project I’ve ever done.

Found the cable knit sweater I started 4 years ago and abandoned. Figured out what row I left off on all the different cable panels and also what size I was making. It’s the Knives Out sweater. I got so much merino wool to make it. We’ll see if I do.

Finished the first Wheel of Time book on my walk and as far as fantasy novels that have only ever been recommended to me by men go, it's shockingly fine.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Definitely overestimated how much I can do in 1 day lmfao. Just finished the encounter. Tbf I took a long break for lunch and did spend quite a bit of time trying to find a suitable map with a commercial license for it cuz it's more a mini dungeon than an encounter.

There’s a non zero chance that at 7:30 I’ll decide bed warm and comfy and not get up til 10. Hopefully that’s not the case tho.

Ok the gym is closed tomorrow cuz it’s thanksgiving so I’m thinking what if I get up at 7:30 when my alarm goes off, write the last encounter I need to do, take a break to do dishes, then finish the conclusion to the adventure.

Then I can quickly write the article I need to do for this week.
