The sprites for the first DBZ arcade game are so amazing. They are just BEGGING, SCREAMING for a Konami style beat-em-up. The fact it never happened kills me. I don't care if in canon Goku could kill grunts by manipulating the breeze or something.

ZA makes me think too much about logistics. Like there's no way they don't put the wild areas in the bad parts of town. Also, it'd suck to live in the battle zones at night. Just minding your business after a long day at the office and some kid with a Pikachu jumps you for points.

I watched a couple of battles. What I like is that it encourages you to use all four move slots. I feel that in casual play, people only use one or two moves at a time. The four moves thing only comes into play for competitive battlers, so this style might encourage more strategy for casuals.

Wife says pokemon plays differently enough that she is grateful for the tutorial. I have not played it yet, I am wrist deep in Digimon, but I already felt Arceus was pretty different from the mainline games...surprised they went even more different.
