I may have cried a lot this afternoon? I've had so may people say mean things to me online, but this was kind of my first time anyone directly confronted me, and it felt really gross.

I've been thinking about it for a bit, and I think I am gong to talk to HR about it, tomorrow.

I had a coworker tell me I didn't belong in the women's restroom today, because I'm not a woman. She told me I was in the wrong place, and to get out.

I was too surprised to say anything and she left after that, but I've known this woman since she started, maybe three years ago?

"Both sides suck" is true, but a lousy argument for being a centrist. When Republicans are treating transgender people like deviants/predators/lunatics, and Democrats are doing nothing to help trans people (and sometimes offhandedly throwing them under the bus), the answer isn't "in the middle."
