Dear media,
1/ ICE consistently lies about its violence toward people in Chicago, with its initial accounts later disproven.
2/ When protesters shout at ICE agents to get out of their neighborhood and ICE tear-gasses them and throws them to the ground, that's not a "clash" – that's ICE violence.

Everyone please call your local TV and radio stations and ask them to send a crew to the protests and report on them. Much of the media would prefer to ignore them like they did last time, even claiming they didn't know it was happening. Make sure they know this time and that we want to see it.

Yes. And the big three “its”: break it, privatize it, profit. Wanna make a profit on for-profit prisons? Break the immigration laws/system and send as many bodies as possible to private prisons. Same for most agencies. Break it, privatize it because they say it won’t work, make rich friends richer.
