Those bitmap trees and flat ground bring back warm memories of The Chaos Engine’s forest levels.
Tip: If Unity complains about over four overlapping baked lights or too many shadow maps, but you only have one light, the culprit might be missing lightmap UVs on some of your meshes. Took me a while to track this down. They can be generated in the mesh importer. #Unity3D #Lighting #GameDevelopment

Love that hover effect. Subtle yet clear. There’s something oddly satisfying about watching it.
To complicate things further: Finnish generally uses only the gender-neutral "hän", but in some extremely rare cases, the Swedish gender-neutral hen is used as a feminine form. The only time I’ve seen this was in a translation of Joyce’s Ulysses.

A cozy main menu background for #ScreenshotSaturday. There’s still plenty to refine, but the slide projector already takes it straight back to the ’70s. I’m planning to fill the photo tray with snapshots from older versions of the game, so a touch of history in there too.

As someone who nearly lost a hat to a gust of wind just a moment ago, I’d say this is a tiny bit unrealistic. But otherwise a perfectly fitting feature.

At my consulting day job, some high-security clients have banned AI use entirely. That's kind of refreshing nowadays.
