My search in Retrosheet's extensive and invaluable Play By Play file has failed to find a single example of an 862GDP logged in Retrosheet (which isn't every game, but is most MLB games all-time).

1,266 8-6-2 plays.
0 of those 8-6-2 plays that are GIDP.

I’m not gonna say they intentionally did anything. They’re unavoidably separate batches, imo, could happen by coincidence. But man the ball has flown all postseason in a way it absolutely did not fly all regular season. Night and day.

snell is incredible tonight. but not figuring out a way to at least make him work is unacceptable, especially in the playoffs. that’s baseball sometimes, but that’s what loses games and ultimately the series.

That insanity goes down officially as a grounded into double play, making it the only batted ball hit over 350 feet for a GIDP in the pitch tracking era (reg. + postseason).

Max Muncy grounded into a 404-foot double play.

No, I've never seen that before.
No, it didn't happen because I will Strange But True madness to happen.
Yes, we just saw a "grounded into double play" on a ball that looked like a possible slam over the CF wall.
And the catcher recorded both forceouts.
