Idk why, but the announcers constantly using “fall classic” instead of World Series is getting on my nerves. I know it’s an accepted name but it sounds like they’re trying to be lacrosse or golf or hockey.

Like I get that they all do it. And that this was expected. But once you’re making tens of millions of dollars, when is enough enough? “Sure I play baseball and I’d like to win but my ultimate goal is to make more money than god.”
