What’s to fix? It wasn’t me or my ancestors. And I’m still poor. I would do almost anything to help anyone. Color doesn’t matter. You need help or you don’t, color doesn’t matter. Just don’t blame me for something I had no part of. God saw it and didn’t stop it. You going to stay mad at him?

I don’t have a prejudice bone in me. I have many friends that are different ethnicity and none of them blame this generation on what happened. They know we would never stand for slavery. So what’s the point of continuing to bring it up, or reference it in conversation?

I agree and that seems to be my family. Only family event seems that one wrote 1st speech for Washington.
I’m sick of hearing it. I hate that slavery happened, but also the genocide other countries have allowed, Hitler and his gestapo. Now we have a white racist that they won’t stand up to..

Seems like it sometimes when I hear “because I’m black,” or “My ancestors were slaves,” etc. According to my family history search we didn’t own slaves. And I acknowledged Trump is a racist, big time. Across from our farm was a black family renting to grow cotton. We played with them and helped.

I’m sorry I said that in this forum but there’s no way I can count that’s been used on me and other people. I guess it will never stop, like my daughter’s cancer. She had a card made saying “CANCER CARD.”. Because it will never go away. I do get tired of hearing “slaves” “because I’m black,” etc.

The reason the gov is still shutdown. The dems won’t agree to 15 million people losing health coverage. This is not taking into account the Medicare loss of healthcare, USAide, Federal workers laid off due to shutdown, and will continue. Just keep your strength to stop Trump!

This morning, I was hit in the face by a baton.

I’m going to have a pretty gnarly bruise but we need to remember why this is happening: Trump and ICE are rounding up our neighbors, treating them as subhuman, and shipping them off to labor camps in foreign countries. It has to end.
