My hair doesn't match my profile picture any more. ;P Thinking of only doing blue this year. I didn't strip any color this time, just put on some Arctic Fox. The color has actually been staying quite well.

I watched Fox News the other day peddling why we need to take Greenland. They let slip that it's for cobalt. They framed it as saving children from slave mines in Africa owned by China.

Money is the reason. Billions.

Oh yeah, I hate the "comment to get dm". It supposedly works and boosts your visibility as people comment. But it's annoying af.

I've always tried to curate a community of actual interaction with meaningful commentary and sharing. I'll tell em to comment something that takes thought to get freebie

This is a big deal, a judge has rejected the fair-use defense in the Reuters AI copyright suit.

The issue is ingestion and use of data in a way that doesn't pass two of the four fair use factors.

This case isn't gen AI, but it's notable because gen AI is even more egregious with data🧵
