Outstanding performances all round. Manages to make the viewer uncomfortable without needing lots of blood and gore. A classic... #SerialKiller
He really was. It's too bad he died so young but the toll his body took for so long - his heart just gave out, sadly

I have sweetheart, I have it on disc. I do love his music too and he was a real character.
😂😂😂

I love me some Nilsson!!!

You must've seen the documentary Who is Harry Nilsson? It was really good.

He does and likewise. I'll stick with what I already have.
I'll be skipping it. 🙄 Richard O'Brien deserves so much better.

The only thing new is the transfer...that's it and housed in a crappy looking steelbook which automatically means they'll be no booklet with writing. Veeeeerrry lazy.
Totally agree. I have so many different editions of this and on so many different formats, but I wish they'd do more for this release. For the 50th, they should be going all out.

So pretty much all the same extras as countless other editions before. You'd of thought for a revered cult classic like this, something new would of been put together. 🥱

I'm through with the horror challenge for October. I've remained a lifelong fan of the genre since childhood through the very act of not watching it day after day. If anything this has taught me, I crave variety over daily monotony & spontaneity, rather than predictability.

- uncanny ritual, isolation, gaslighting, ostracization & sinister rural settings, all adding it's ingredients into an unsettling atmosphere of rustic dread.

Week 4, Day 1: Theme - TV Horror

#NowWatching

'Robin Redbreast'. 1970 (James MacTaggart)

This week's theme encompasses films made expressly for TV, or films which aired on TV first.

Tonight's work has become somewhat of a proto folk horror, covering (now) familiar themes...
I totally agree. 1970s bizarre flicks always pull me in. When someone tells me they have a weird movie for me to watch and it's modern, I'm always disappointed. They just don't hit the same way 1970s 'weird' hits.

It was everything from tone, wardrobe, dialogue, performances and the soundtracks
Rena said she did not like the movie, but I don't believe her. In fact, I think she and I just created a new pre-Halloween tradition.

Tonight, I introduced my sister Rena Szlosek to the amazing 1973 cult horror hit "The Baby." I love this movie. It's batshit crazy from beginning to end and the conclusion is as wacky as it is shocking.
