Rachel Reeves is right to say the economy is still suffering from the impacts of leaving the European Union, austerity and Liz Truss’s mini-budget.
She and Keir Starmer need to be more vocal about Brexit and the need to #Rejoin the Single Market.

A system the UK was wholeheartedly in agreement with.

Before Brexit, that is, and the belated realisation that, just like any other third country having limited rights to visit, it would be the perfect tool for managing the EU access rules. But that's what Brexiters voted for. It's on them.

The next time a Brit enters the EU, you’ll need to register your fingerprints and have a photo taken.

That data stays in the system for three years. It’ll automatically log when you enter and leave, enforcing the 90-days-in-180 rule

It's hard work getting the truth out of Nigel Farage, something most of our media have no interest in, anyway.
But we deserve to know the links Reform has with the Kremlin, and also Putin's interference in the Brexit referendum.
Some people pretend to be patriots when they're helping the other side.

So it now appears the woman Farage and Gill were so close to has a direct link not only to Putin’s “Man in Ukraine” Medvedchuk, but his predecessor as President, Medvedev

These are top Russian agents.

Wall to wall praise of Donald Trump for apparently achieving peace in the Middle East.
It's excellent. But such a shame he didn't do it before #Gaza was destroyed and tens of thousands of Palestinians were murdered.

How come there are records of Farage making similar statements/questions in the EP (e.g., 2014 warnings of Western provocation leading to war with Putin), sharing themes of anti-EU/NATO expansion and de-escalation that align with Gill's bribed pro-Russian narratives on Ukraine?

Nigel Farage is surprised his Reform ally Nathan Gill took Russian bribes.
He'll be amazed to learn Putin interfered in the Brexit referendum.
And stunned when he hears he, himself, praised Putin, exactly as he helped Bashar al-Assad commit genocide.

It is embarassing not to see the BBC pulling up Reform leaders claiming that Nathan Gill was just some fan who got photos taken with Farage - he was an MEP for them & their leader in Wales while taking cash from Russia to act against the UK! Literally the very basics of your job to point this out

Leader of the Greens, @zackpolanski.bsky.social, is right that the richest could and should contribute more, while still remaining well off. Also, that they can't pick up and move the land they own: wealth flight is exaggerated.
Britain can be, and must become, fairer.

Yes, the very same IEA that brought us Liz Truss’ disastrous mini budget. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Every year 100s of employers are named and shamed for failure to pay the statutory minimum wage.

2016-2023: over 3m workers denied the minimum wage.

Puny fines do nothing. Fines must equal the remuneration of the board of directors. 50% personally payable. Imprison persistent offenders.
The government must ensure fair distribution of income

Of course, peace in Gaza will be a wondeful outcome.
But Trump has already allowed and helped Netanyahu to commit genocide, so it's hard to hear him endlessly praised.
And he really doesn't deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.

While Labour and the Tories busily worry about Nigel Farage, the Greens are looking at how to make Britain better for the vast majority.
Polls show that Labour's actually losing far fewer voters to Reform than to the Greens. With @zackpolanski.bsky.social offering real hope, you can see why.

Do you how many UK forced removals the #ECHR have stopped?

Yes, we should harmonise taxes so that income from wealth is charged at the same rate as paid work. Currently, many business owners pay themselves more in dividends than salaries to minimise tax.
So, the best off pay proportionately less. Which must end, however much the establishment complains.

Robert Jenrick has slammed Liz Truss’ mini-Budget as “careless” and “unconservative” as he said the Tory party must accept its mistakes.
Interestingly, that's the budget that Nigel Farage praised that led to national crisis and Truss being ousted.
