This is scary shit: A woman born in Chicago was detained by federal agents who told her she didn’t “look like” her own last name. She even showed them her passport, and they still didn’t believe her. She carries that passport everywhere because she's worried about being snatched by ICE.

Not surprised, but Politico got a hold of text messages from a bunch of young Republican operatives talking about how much they "love Hitler" and joking about slavery and rape.

The old GOP would have shunned these losers into obscurity, but Trump's party will give give them government jobs.

I spend so much time pushing for the Epstein files to be released because I don’t want my son growing up in a world where the rich and powerful can prey on young women and men without consequences. What kind of message would that send him? That’s not the world I want to raise him in.

Being told ICE is being extra aggressive with protesters this morning in Chicago. Haven’t seen any video yet, but there have been some pretty dramatic escalations. If you’re out there protesting or protecting a school, be smart. Keep your head on a swivel.

Multiple Chicago schools went on lockdown today because of ICE, including my son’s and the one I’m on the council of. Spent the last two hours standing outside, trying to make sure nothing happens to these kids. This is horrible.
