In AI parlance "faster" clearly is becoming a truncation of "fast and loose", much like the more explicit but less often said these days "move fast and break things" really just meant "instability."

The output of "faster" production merits the teacher euphemism that a shit work "sure is something."

While a much more difficult build, the cylindrical "UFO" construction would have been safer.

Kid's playing with comparative paper airplane designs from a book. Flipping through the book I'm seeing the same paper airplane designs as an instruction book I picked up at a Scholastic book fare decades ago, though this one is missing the tubular "UFO" construction on the last pages.

Alias fell apart in its back end too, so what to me read like Darth Rambaldi stuff had me really worried the finale battle was going to be resolved by a spinning red orb of undefined substance, but I maybe both Lucasfilm and Paramount told Abrams he can't cross the streams with self-ref Easter eggs.

One of the reasons I'm looking forward to Starfighter is that Ryan Gosling can bridge the uncanny valley of playing an action figure or doll, in one instance literally, and I think/hope in M+G one of the strengths John Favreau is bringing into it is serious big kid energy. 6/

Rogue One, Gareth Edwards and a lot of cast claimed to draw direct through lines from their own childhoods' play with action figures to the production, I think you really see this in the Star destroyer ramming, M+G seem to have a similar falling AT-AT moment 5/
