Getting my M.Div in Food Science, thesis on the "Transubstantiation of Mountain Dew and Higher Orders of Caffeine Chain of Being." Will cop to knowing cop stuff. Better to be remembered as a sharp lover of sandwiches than a slick merchant of hate.

"Maybe he'll jump on it when he's off the air" did pass my mind.

Weirdly, Berkeley Reddit has a fairly substantive "did you feel that?" thread; but I didn't feel a thing.
In AI parlance "faster" clearly is becoming a truncation of "fast and loose", much like the more explicit but less often said these days "move fast and break things" really just meant "instability."

The output of "faster" production merits the teacher euphemism that a shit work "sure is something."
The succession wars following Burger King Lear's exeunt from the stage will be like something out of the finale melee in the '67 Casino Royale, but further marred by so many podcaster microphones intruding into shots. No edit will ever clean up that mess.
I am no longer nostalgic. People over forty years ago who admonished me to be careful or I'll put my eye out now smugly nod somewhere as I ponder how kid managed to get the paper dart under my glasses.

While a much more difficult build, the cylindrical "UFO" construction would have been safer.
Kid's playing with comparative paper airplane designs from a book. Flipping through the book I'm seeing the same paper airplane designs as an instruction book I picked up at a Scholastic book fare decades ago, though this one is missing the tubular "UFO" construction on the last pages.

That's gotta be a thing by now, right?
Alias fell apart in its back end too, so what to me read like Darth Rambaldi stuff had me really worried the finale battle was going to be resolved by a spinning red orb of undefined substance, but I maybe both Lucasfilm and Paramount told Abrams he can't cross the streams with self-ref Easter eggs.
Anyway, I hope at some point White gets to realize he was part of a hopefully fun flick and can admit to having some fun with it, or at least get himself some nice toys he'd prefer to play with after his Marvel payout. 7/7
One of the reasons I'm looking forward to Starfighter is that Ryan Gosling can bridge the uncanny valley of playing an action figure or doll, in one instance literally, and I think/hope in M+G one of the strengths John Favreau is bringing into it is serious big kid energy. 6/
That's what Mandalorian and Grogu seems like on reflection a chance to see a lot of action figures and their attendant toy vehicles and playsets at play. And really that can be a good thing. 4/
Yoda" was and the silver gleam of Din's beskar seemed almost intentionally designed to draw eyes in the toy aisle, successful enough they wound up playing a whole Naboo Starfighter with a similar coat. And really, aside from Sigourney Weaver popping into a shot, 3/

Made a quip dunking Jeremy Allen White's method gravitas toward playing Rotta the Hutt, the analogous roles of Unicrom for Orson Welles and Golobulus for Burgess Meredith sailing over his head. In the 80s G.I. Joe and Transformers the movies you had big deal actors bringing their game to play 1/
This was pitched to him like Orson Welles and Burgess Meredith's comparable roles as Unicron and Golobulus.
