Weird, it says "games" but it IS books.
For me, it's a toss up between The Thrice Divided and Murder in Lamott.
Books I've read this year. Slow year. But mostly a good one.
What's been your favourite read in 2025 thus far?
(Mine is in the comments).

Hah! Me too!
All I saw was cheesecake boat and ocean for at least 5 minutes
How good does this look???
📚💙Entertaining, thought-provoking story. Carries the reader along with it." "I was scared to read the next chapter but knew I would never rest until I found out how it came out." read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...
Can't believe I'm agreeing with any Kar-Cash-ian but yeah, I agree. I had a school principal once tell me (once I pressed him on this) that as long as kids kept a decent grasp on English and Math up until High School, then homework was a waste of time and of THEIR time.
What an awesome backlist of books!
I was publishing horror novels long (1984-) before my Spookie Town Murder Mysteries, time-travel SF, SF, and my Dinosaur Lake series. Here is a collage (and I have more published books now) of most of my books, take a look. www.amazon.com/-/e/B001KHIXNS

📚💙"Book definitely not like any other book about witches, vampires and ghost that I have ever read. There's a lot of twist and turns that keep you on your toes trying to keep up. So, if you haven't read it, what are you waiting for?"books2read.com/u/bP8ldb tinyurl.com/h2rd2bb
Heaps of fun!
#SFFChat Intro: Introduce yourself and share what your MC had to eat today (most likely)!
Yes. It's made me want to write about OTHER places haha
Love it. My main character Ro McKinley most likely had a pop tart smeared with marmalade and loads of strong milky coffee.
I like potatoes.

That is all.
The Orange Slug-man strikes again. What a hateful creature this trump thing is.
It had a lot going for it, and it didn't have much to draw upon in terms of templates (the way the modern MCU movies do by rehashing the same plots).
Definitely would have been improved by less B-story, no Eric Bana, and better SFX, but for what it was, I have a fondness for it.
