The new report is a chance for the province to “put their money where their mouth is” and employ Manitobans for work that’s often contracted out, such as software development, said the MGEU's president.

✅ On October 20, 2025, members of Beacon Hill Lodge ratified a new 4-year collective agreement.

Highlights include:

- General wage increases
- Market adjustment & other significant wage adjustments
- New long service steps
- Addition of Orange Shirt Day (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation)
